Our Matchmakers

Hi! I am Missy, founder AND matchmaker of fetcha! When I was Vice President of a local rescue here in Wisconsin, I had a goal of saving as many lives as weas a rescue could. By volunteering many endless hours I was able to fullfill that goal! Unforunately those endless hours are just that, endless. As much as I loved my rescue, the people I worked with and all the wagging tails I met, I had to take a step back and come up with a different way that could still help save lives. Shortly after fetcha was born.

When I would speak with adopters while volunteering, the biggest complaint I heard was, "The dog I applied for was adopted. I applied to a different rescue and the samething happened again." or " I don't even know where to start." There are so many lives out there lost. Imagine how many lives could be saved with our help through matching! People could successfully adopt the animals they want to add to their family without any running around wasting time!

With the knowledge of rescue, working and connecting with them, it has opened a door that many haven't even dreamed of. Its allowing adopters to add new family members without the struggles and heartache!

I have also had my personal struggles trying to adopt. I could never find "The one" until one day she became my foster and never left. You may see her from time to time pop up on our facebook page. I love to see people share their pets as much as I love to share my pup, Maddie.

Please feel free to send me a message!
I would love to answer any questions or even chat!

  6. Title 6
Hi there! My name is Lindsey and I am a matchmaker for fetcha! While I was fostering for a couple of our local rescues here in Wisconsin, I would do everything within my ability to save lives! Volunteering countless hours at intakes, paperwork, fundraisers, adoption events, and networking. And on top of it all, taking in and fostering numerous dogs & cats at a time! Needless to say, I burnt myself out and had to step back. And after a brief break, Missy reached out to me & asked for my help. In the past, I’ve helped rescues network animals through fetcha, so I had already had a relationship & familiarity with Missy & what fetcha was about. From working within rescues, I knew how important it was to network, connect & find the perfect home for each fur baby. By helping fetcha grow, I will still be able to help countless lives be saved, and that many families to find happiness. With that being said, I would love to help you, or someone you know, find the pet you’ve been searching for! We are working daily to partner with shelters & rescues across Wisconsin & Illinois.

Feel free to browse our website, or message either one of us!

Social Media Coordinator

Mariela
  1. Maddie
  2. Myself and foster pup "Missy"
Hello! My name is Mariela and I am fetcha’s Instagram/Twitter coordinator! Animal rescue is something that I have always wanted to be a part of in some way, shape or form. So far I’ve only been able to get involved in helping with dog transports in my spare time. When I saw that fetcha was looking for another volunteer to join their team I jumped at the opportunity with zero hesitation! Instagram and Twitter are two platforms that I use daily, so I thought this would be a great way for me to contribute.

The power of social media in this day and age is huge! Networking on these platforms can literally save lives! I’m so excited to help fetcha with growing their social media presence and most importantly, helping the animals find their forever homes!

So go like us on facebook, instagram and twitter!
Don't forget to say, "Hi!"
